The Philosopher's Stone

The Philosopher's Stone is where the films begin, and is a great opener. Harry is brought up by his horrible uncle and aunt, and his cousin Dudley bullies him at school. When Harry turns Eleven, half - giant Hagrid, who works in Hogwarts, visits Harry's house and tells him all about his parents death when Voldemort killed him, and how he got the scar on his head, and also how Harry is a wizard, and very famous in the wizarding world. Hagrid takes Harry to Diagon Alley, where Wizards get their wands, owls and other magic equipment ready for Hogwarts. When he gets there off the train, he meets Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger, who become his best friends. All three are picked for Gryffindor house, and the three are also intrested in the Philosopher's Stone, which is hidden somewhere in the castle, but to get to it they must complete some challenges first...
